CONCEPT/SYSTEM
Our concept focuses on delivering exceptional speed without compromising on quality.
Customers place their orders at our kiosk, receive a number, and then take a seat. Once the food is ready, we bring it directly to their table. After they’ve finished, they can simply leave without the hassle of cleaning up.

HISTORY
We opened our family-owned restaurant to bring traditional Japanese hibachi-style cooking to the Lowcountry, becoming one of the first of its kind in the area.
Our journey began in 1988 with the opening of Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse in Murrells Inlet, later evolving into Miyabi Kyoto Japanese Steakhouse in 1998. In 2019, we rebranded as Hachiya Japanese Steakhouse.
Our love for Japanese cuisine led us to create Hachiya Ramen. Traveling across Japan, we studied authentic ramen to craft a genuine recipe. Despite sourcing challenges, we spent four years perfecting it, ensuring the highest quality so our guests can enjoy ramen just as it’s meant to be.
